Viewpoint displays weather forecasts, cloud-cover layers, astronomical trajectories, and related environmental and spatial calculations.
All of this data is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. It is the output of third-party providers and mathematical models, presented to assist planning. It is not a guarantee of the conditions you will encounter.
Forecasts are inherently uncertain. Model grid resolution, terrain that the models do not fully account for, and natural weather volatility all mean real conditions can differ — sometimes significantly — from what Viewpoint shows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viewpoint and its operator disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, missed conditions, or physical safety hazard arising from reliance on the forecasts, environmental data, or calculations in the app.
You are responsible for your own safety in the field. Where weather, light, tide, or terrain carries real risk, consult authoritative local sources and use your own judgement. Do not treat Viewpoint as a safety or navigation tool.
